That's My Boy!

Nicholas has watched our dogs eat a bit too much off the floor and I've caught him eating off the floor a few times.  This week we had difficulty with our ice maker so some ice got on the floor and, well,  I think the pictures will tell the rest of the story....

Five Weeks at Home with Two Boys

yep, it's been five weeks for this stay-at-home mom with two precious boys who I love so much!

So this week, I've checked out a daycare/preschool close to home for Nicholas, I've been trying to figure out when Joseph's school actually starts, AND I've been talking to my mom about watching the kids a few days a weeks so I can go back to work soon!

Nicholas has been doing fine with my mom and my babysitter Jean while I'm gone so I think I'm going to go back to work for 1 or 2 days a week for a little mommy time and money time.

Here's some pics of what two boys do when it's been over 100 degrees for what seems like FOREVER!

After I snapped this last pic of the tug of war over the lovely toy golf clubs that my brother gave to Nicholas I told Joseph to let his brother have the club and when Joseph let go, Nicholas just walloped him with it! 

Yep, they're definitely brothers!

Lightning McQueen Slippers

Joseph had an old pair of Lightning McQueen slippers that he inherited from his cousin which he outgrew.  so I bought him a new pair of LM slippers to open while we were in China. 

Watch the progression of these pictures and I think you can figure out Nicholas' reaction to his new slippers.

Oh, my goodness, that cracks me up!  I did eventually help him remove the slippers, but he's gonna learn to love them like Joseph did!  I mean, c'mon, it's Lightning McQueen!

Park Time

Yesterday evening we went to our local park and fed the ducks and swans and there was the cutest baby swan and his/her family so there's a few pics of them i had to post.  so cute!

Giant Leopard Moth

I know many of you check this blog for pics of the boys, BUT Joseph took this picture the other night of a Giant Leopard Moth that was on our front porch.  He thought it was pretty cool.
