The Zoo
Joseph, Ga-Ga and I headed to the zoo on Wednesday when St. Louis hit a record-breaking 93 degrees! what a day to pick to go to the zoo! Luckily it was breezy so it wasn't too bad.
Love to wach the penguins! my mom ran in and out of there as quickly as she could because the smell of fish makes her want to vomit. so here we are outside the penguin house with Ga-Ga.
Joseph decided he could carry the backpack that weighed almost as much as he does!
Since we are now officially members of the St. Louis Zoo, we had two passes to go "pet" the stingrays. Here's a big one in front of Joseph. He just likes to watch, but there was one that kept swimming by splashing him which he thought was pretty cool. Good thing Ga-Ga wasn't in there with us because it was feeding time. YUM, More Fish!
Mom's favorite of the day. I could have stood there all day and watched this baby elephant.
So Cute!
Of course, Joseph was more fascinated with the elephant POOP! At one point I said: Joseph, look at the baby elephant. Joseph: But, Mom, those kids are looking at the poop!
And here's a final picture of the zoo that I'll leave you with. Anyone who knows my mom a/k/a
Ga-Ga knows this is classic Ga-Ga.
Joseph sometimes has a little bit of trouble with his underwear and he pulls at the back of his shorts. Well, it drives my mom crazy so she'd just stop him anywhere in the zoo and pull his shorts out, rearrange his underwear, and say there, is that better? And Joseph would say: There, that's better.
Again, this happened on more than one occasion.
